Forbidden City

By Wyatt and Franco.

The Forbidden City was the home to all of the emperors.  We walked through the south gate, one of three gates.  When we got in, we saw multiple Buildings.  Many of them were gateways to a different section of the Forbidden City. Each building had a number of figurines of the corners of the rooftop. 9 Signified the most important building which was the emperors temple. We walked on a walkway that had much history, the emperors walkway. On that walkway, Confucius, who was honored by the emperor, was the only other person to walk down that walkway and use the emperors horse. Not even the prince had that high of an honor. This was the emperors way of making the people see that he respects and honors those with higher education.
