Symbolizing the enjoyment of life, the calliope hummingbird is thought to have an optimistic view of the world.
This fascinating little bird, with a name meaning “little star,” is
capable of incredible feats despite its small size.
It can fly great distances from country to country and is seen as
a resilient messenger. In celebration of
the calliope hummingbird, we endeavor to remain curious as educational
explorers in our pursuit to connect, create, and inspire teachers and students
of the world.

cultivate a love of learning and drive for innovation through global projects
and educational world travel. Through
opportunities of exploration, teachers and students can together create and
